AS29611 – Peering Policy
Requirements and procedures for establishing peering with Elite AS29611.
General Policy
Elite operates a semi-selective peering policy.
We welcome peering with networks that offer mutual technical or business benefit. We generally maintain an
open policy at public Internet Exchanges (IXPs), with the following considerations.
Requirements
- Peering is preferred over direct sessions only when Route Servers are not in use.
- If both parties are already Route Server (RS) participants, a
valid business or technical justification is required for bilateral peering.
- Peering requests must include up-to-date contact and NOC information.
- Announced prefixes must be aggregated and properly registered in a public IRR (e.g., RIPE, RADb).
- Peering sessions must not be used to transit third-party prefixes unless explicitly agreed.
Locations
We are present at multiple IXPs across the UK and Europe. See our PeeringDB entry for up-to-date presence.
